Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure

In short: Kwyper is free because advertising and affiliate commissions pay for it. An affiliate link earns us a small commission if you buy something after clicking, at no extra cost to you. Money never buys a good review, and every affiliate link and every sponsored item is labelled. Right now, no advertising runs on this site and our articles carry no affiliate links.

Effective date: 16 September 2026

How Kwyper earns money

Kwyper.com is published by Ranqueei Digital LTDA. We charge readers nothing and we sell no subscriptions. The site is designed to be paid for in two ways: display advertising sold by third-party ad networks, and affiliate links.

As of the effective date above, neither is live. There is no advertising on Kwyper, no ad network is loading anything on our pages, and we are not enrolled in any affiliate programme. We are publishing this page now so the rules are in place before the money is, and we will update it the day either one starts.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a link to a shop that carries a code identifying us. If you click it and buy something, the shop pays us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to the shop directly. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin.

When we do use affiliate links, we earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through them. Every affiliate link will be identified in the article that contains it, next to the link itself, not buried at the bottom of the page or hidden behind a click through to this one. That is what the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides, at 16 CFR Part 255, require: a disclosure has to be hard to miss and easy to understand, and it has to sit close to the recommendation it relates to.

How advertising works here

Display advertising, when it arrives, will be served by third-party networks that choose which ad to show. Those networks do not see our articles before publication and have no say in what we write about or how we write it. Ads will be visually separate from editorial content so you can tell at a glance which is which. If serving ads means setting cookies, European and UK readers will be asked to agree first, and our Cookie Policy will list exactly what is set.

Sponsored content

If a company ever pays for a specific article, or gives us something of value in exchange for coverage, that article will carry the word Sponsored in its headline area, before you start reading, and a line naming the company that paid. It will not be mixed into our normal reviews or rankings. We have published no sponsored content to date.

Loan cars, press trips and review samples are not payment, but they are a connection worth knowing about. When a manufacturer provides a car, a flight or a hotel for a review, we say so in the article.

What money does not buy

No advertiser or affiliate partner gets a better score, a higher ranking or a softer verdict. Our recommendations are made before anyone checks whether a commission is available, and we recommend products that pay us nothing whenever they are the right answer. Nobody outside Kwyper reads an article before it is published. The wider rules are in our Editorial Policy.

The line our editors use in articles

For anyone writing for Kwyper, this is the disclosure to place directly above the first affiliate link in an article, in normal body text:

Some links in this article are affiliate links. If you buy through one, Kwyper earns a commission at no extra cost to you. It never affects what we recommend.
